Josh Arieh, misperceived as a bad guy in front of the cameras in 2004 as he finished third in the main event got his revenge in 2005. Josh got the best of a tough final table that included seven-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel, to Italian pro Max Pescatori, and 2003 European player of the year Dave Colclough. Another tough opponent waited for Arieh when it got to heads up, as Chris “Jesus” Ferguson finished second after a final match that had some brilliant moments of world class poker. Josh took home $381,600 to his wife, and two daughters back in Atlanta.
