Craps Lingo: “Come Bet”
In a craps game, the “come bet” is a bet that acts like a come out roll after the point is already made. It is placed in the center of the betting area just above the pass line and below the box numbers. You can lose it if a 2,3, or 12 comes up, and you can win money if a 7 or 11 is made on the next roll. A “don’t come bet” is made next to the don’t pass and works in the exact opposite fashion as the come bet. Here you will win even money if a 2,3, or 12 is made, and you’ll lose the bet if a 7 or 11 is hit.
