World Series of Blackjack at Las Vegas Hilton
Are the myriad of poker shows on television not quenching your appetite for gaming when you’re not in Vegas? Then tune into the “World Series of Blackjack” on the Game Show Network for a few rounds of cards.
This 13-episode show started June 5, but since I don’t normally watch GSN, I was only recently clued in to it. During the series, 40 top players are competing for the $1 million prize pool. Those that survive the eight preliminary rounds will then compete in the semi-finals with two-wild card shows and the final match wrapping up this season.
This coming week’s episode will be the sixth of the eight preliminaries, so it’s not too late to get into the action that’s happening on the show. Episodes will continue to air every Monday at 10 p.m. (EST) until the finals. The second season of “High Stakes Poker,” live from the Palms Casino, airs an hour earlier at 9:00 p.m.
