Nonetheless, tying the knot in Las Vegas definitely a legal and binding commitment, just as getting married in any other state is. And yet it can be a lot of fun—more of a fun party rather than a stuffy ceremony. After all, Las Vegas knows how to have a good time.

Almost every major resort casino in Las Vegas has its own wedding chapel(s) and wedding planners who are happy to deal with all the details. Many resorts also offer packages specific to the property, so no two places have exactly the same options.

  • A Special Memory Wedding Chapel, located on 4th Street in downtown Las Vegas, is home to the famous drive-thru wedding window.
  • The Chapel of Flowers is one of the oldest wedding chapels in Las Vegas. It has been around for more than 50 years.

All you need to tie the knot are proof of age (via driver’s license, passport or birth certificate), social security number (foreigners may need additional documentation) and parental consent and court order if under the age of 16.
