Damon Wayans Aims to Make ‘Em Laugh at The Mirage
Part of the famous Wayans family, Damon Wayans has been making a living with his comedic talent since the early 80s. Though briefly a “not-ready-for-primetime-player” on “Saturday Night Live,” It wasn’t until he joined his siblings — Keenon Ivory, Shawn and Marlon — in the edgy comedy show “In Living Color” that he shot to fame. After appearing in a string of movies, including The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and The Great White Hype, he returned to television as the lead in the ABC sitcom “My Wife and Kids,” which he also produced and wrote for.
Wayans got his start with stand-up, though, and it’s this that brings the talented comedian to the Mirage for two nights starting May 5. Both shows are 18-and-over only.
