Dane Cook Invades Mandalay Bay

It’s been an incredible year for comedian Dane Cook. He’s co-starred in the film Waiting with Ryan Reynolds, hosted “Saturday Night Live,” performed stand-up on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and the “2005 MTV Video Music Awards,” and had his second comedy album, CDx2/DVD, debut at #4 on the Billboard charts and go platinum. As if that wasn’t a busy enough plate, Cook has just signed a multi-faceted deal with HBO that includes the comedy documentary series “Tourgasm,” which will premier in June, and a feature-length stand-up film that will be shot in Boston later in April.

To warm up for the Boston show, Cook is going to be trying out his material on a Vegas audience on April 8. This will be his only other live appearance this spring, as he is currently finishing filming Employee of the Month with Jessica Simpson and from there goes on to film Dan In Real Life with Steve Carrell.
