Chris Isaak to Kick Off Stars on the Lake 2007 Season
It’s hard to categorize a musician like Chris Isaak. Though his roots are in country and rockabilly, he has, over the years, expanded his sound into genres such as blues, pop and rock. Among his many radio hits are classics like “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing,” “King Without a Castle,” and his iconic 1989 hit, “Wicked Game.”
As a warm-up to his summer tour with Stevie Nicks, Isaak will be appearing at the MonteLago Village Waterfront at Lake Las Vegas on Friday, May 11, to kick off this year’s Stars on the Lake concert series.
Tickets are $50 (lawn), $85 (reserved) and $125 (floating VIP), and are available via Ticketmaster. Lawn seats have no chairs, but ticket holders are allowed to bring a blanket to sit on. No outside food or beverages are allowed, but several of the resort’s restaurants are offering special picnic basket packages for the show.
Weather.com says the weather will be cooperating, with nighttime temps in the low 70s, so it should be a wonderful night for an outdoor show on the lake.
