Country Music To Take Over Fremont Street Experience This Weekend
It’s always a great time when the Academy of Country Music brings all of the genre’s music stars to Vegas, and the ACM always kicks off things with a free concert at the Fremont Street Experience. Well, last year’s event was so popular that they decided to add another day of free shows to the line-up.
The “Week Vegas Goes Country,” as the ACM likes to call it, will kick off this Saturday, May 12, with an all day concert line-up that includes Trick Pony, Little Texas, Keith Anderson, Halfway 2 Hazard, Ray Scott, Trent Tomlinson, James Otto, Poverty Neck Hillbillies and more. The show starts at 2pm on the 1st & 3rd St Stage at the Fremont Experience, and runs until 10pm.
Sunday, May 13th, the concerts kick off at 2:30pm, following the ACM charity ride. Taking the stage until 10pm will be artists such as Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Emerson Drive, Trick Pony, Jason Meadows and more.
At 10pm, Gretchen Wilson will take the stage to debut songs from her cd, which hits stores on May 15. Expect fellow Muzik Mafia friends like Big & Rich to join her for a tune or two.
And did I mention all of these concerts were free? If you’re a country music fan, you definitely won’t want to miss this weekend of live music.
