Goo Goo Dolls at Red Rock
The Goo Goo Dolls got their start in the mid-80s as a punk-influenced rock trio. After a few independent label releases, the band struck gold in the late-90s with a string of more melodic-rock radio hits such as “Name,” “Iris” and “Slide.” They’ve continued their streak into this decade with songs like “Black Balloon” and their cover of “Give a Little Bit.”
The Goo Goo Dolls have just released their eighth album, Let Love In and “Better Days,” the first single, can be heard all over the radio. The band will be touring throughout the summer in support and the first date on the tour will be at the newly-opened Red Rock Casino on May 13.
