Otto’s Malt Shop Aims To Break Three World Records

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream…or so the old kid’s jingle goes. But how loud would you scream for a malt that is over six feet tall?

Join Otto’s Malt Shop on June 30 as they attempt to set a record for the world’s largest malt with a concoction that aims to be taller than most humans, topped with whip cream and a cherry ball. When it’s done, Otto’s will be offering a free taste of the malt, but are requesting donations to benefit the Children’s Hospital Fund.

There will also be two other record-breaking attempts taking place at the event. Think you can be the fastest to drink a 10 oz malt without incurring brain freeze? Or think you can eat more than 9.3 ounces of ice cream with a teaspoon in 30 seconds? There are still chances to sign up if you want to participate instead of just watch.

The event starts at 7 p.m., and Otto’s will be giving out t-shirts and other suprises while they last. The shop is located near the UNLV at the Promenade at Harmon and Maryland.
