Bally’s Las Vegas
Bally’s Las Vegas is a hotel and casino, located on the Las Vegas Strip. It is owned by by Harrah’s Entertainment. The hotel is best known for the neon lighting wrapped around the covered moving sidewalk which brings guests from Las Vegas Boulevard to the entrance of the casino.
Year opened
The hotel opened on December 5, 1973, under the name of MGM Grand. When it opened, the hotel had a Los Angeles movie theme. Up until the Mirage opened in 1989, Bally’s was the largest hotel in Las Vegas.
The hotel was sold in 1985 to Bally Entertainment Corporation and the name changed to Bally’s. And in 1995 Bally Entertainment Corporation was purchased by Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Resorts/hotels near-by: It is located between Paris Las Vegas and Flamingo Las Vegas , just opposite the Bellagio . There’s a Monorail stop behind the property.
Number of rooms and suites
The hotel has a total of 2,814 rooms, out of which about 75% are in the North Tower and have been renovated in 2004.
The casino
The hotel offers a total gaming space of 67,000 sq ft and the guests can choose between slots, table games, poker and keno. Those who like to test their intuition will enjoy the Race & Sports Book, which features an exclusive VIP viewing area.
General prices
The hotel is definitely aiming at the high end clientele, which is a direct reflection of the elegant and glamorous style it advertises. The room rates start at $119 per night in the South Tower and at $169 per night in the North Tower (renovated rooms) during the low season. As the high season approaches, the prices increase.

Although Bally’s is not a place to find posh nightclubs, there are excellent lounges and bars where you can sip cocktails with friends or listen to music all night.
Sully’s Bar is perfect to soak up the Strip’s atmosphere while enjoying excellent cocktails and company. Plus, there are video game machines in the bar, so you are bound to have some additional fun and try your luck. The open-air feel and the atmosphere make you want to party all night long.

Tequila Bar & Grille is located at the Casino level and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. Along with the full Mexican and American food menu, you can also try the tequilas, margaritas and specialty drinks.
Entertainment
Bally’s Las Vegas is home to o the Strip’s most critically acclaimed topless revue – Donn Arden’s Jubilee! And the guests can also enjoy The Price Is Right: Live, the live-audience version of the popular TV show.
