Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
Overview: Though some say the Palms has taken over as the hipster hangout in Vegas, you wouldn’t notice a difference at the Hard Rock. It is still a party at the Hard Rock no matter when you come. There is a boutique feel to the casino, and the pit is as much of a pick up joint, as it is a place to try and push your luck. The rooms are tres modern. Even the Standard Rooms exude chic with flat scrfeen plasma TVs, 310 thread count sheets, wireless accessible internet, and a Bose CD stereo system. In the casino, the cocktail waitresses are sexy in their leather and fishnet—but you’d have a tough time telling who’s hotter based on the Hollywood-esque clientele. If you did classic rock, you’ll get an earful and an eyeful with costumes, guitars, and gold albums all around.
Price Range: Weekend Splurge
Shows: The Joint has regular big name music shows.
Bars/Clubs: The Joint, Body English
Restaurants: Nobu, Mr Lucky’s 24/7, Pink Taco, AJ’s Steakhouse, Simon Kitchen and Bar
Known for…. the Joint. No rock and roll band or artists plays here that you haven’t heard of. It’s all big time musicians.
The one thing…Rehab Sundays at the pool. The sandy beaches are a sure cure for that Sat night hangover. The party is open to locals and non-residents when it’s less busy. Don’t even bother trying to get in on a holiday weekend unless you’re staying there.
