Buffalo Bill’s Resort and Casino is on the stateline in Primm. It used to have a big “outlaw” feel, but has now transformed that into an “outlet” feel. No longer a holding tank for the castoffs of Vegas proper, the stateline casinos have worked really hard to become a destination all their own.

The resort boasts 1242 rooms including luxury suites with Jacuzzi’s. Their pool is shaped like a giant buffalo, and basic room rates start at $35.95.

There are numerous tour companies selling day trips, or junkets, from the Southwest to the Stateline casinos. Departure cities include Greater Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Orange County, Riverside/San Bernadino, High Desert, San Diego County, Northern California, other big cities in the Southwest, and Texas.
