Venetian Reveals Remodeled Suites
Earlier this year, the Venetian began a $100 million renovation plan that would update 3,014 suites in the main portion of the resort. Though the project is not due to be finished until this fall, many of the rooms have already been updated.
Among the new additions to each room are remote control Roman shades and curtains with “Touch Control” technology, wireless dual-line telephones, in-room wifi, and upgraded food and beverage amenities in the minibar, including Godiva chocolates, sugar-free jelly-belly’s and Piper-Heidsieck champagne.
For your entertainment, each King-bedded suite will have three TVs, a 17″ LCD in the bath, a 32″ in the living room, and a 32″ in the bedroom area. Dual queen suites will also have three TVs: a 17″ LCD in the bath, a 32″ in the living room, and a 42″ plasma in the bedroom area
Speaking of the bedroom area, all of the suites have received completely new bedding comprised of Sealy pillow-top mattresses, 100% Egyptian cotton Anichini bed linens with 100% white goose down duvets, and angora wool throws from New Zealand.
The resort says the remodeling is not going to be extended to the 1,013 suites at the Venezia Tower, which opened in 2003.
