Cake at Mandalay Bay

Sacramento-based band Cake kicks off their 2006 Unlimited Sunshine tour with a show in Worchester, MA next week. They’ll then play six more shows before arriving in Vegas for one night at the end of this month. Best known for their hits “The Distance” and “Short Skirt/Long Jacket”, the alternative rock band’s fifth album is Pressure Chief, released in 2004. Lead singer John McCrea and the rest of the band will head to Japan in March for some additional shows.
