Rain Nightclub at Palms Casino Resort

It may not be centrally located on Las Vegas Boulevard, but Palms Casino Resort has definitely been pulling its weight when it comes to the most desirable destinations to stay and party in Las Vegas. Rain Nightclub has played a big part in that reputation, which is really no surprise considering its incredibly large space, celebrity appeal, unique design and awesome music selection.

At 28,000 square feet, Rain is as much a concert venue as it is a nightclub. International headliners are not uncommon, and the house music is some of the hottest in Sin City. The club’s house DJ is the legendary Paul Oakenfold, though you wouldn’t know he is one of the city’s most well-known DJs based on the location of the booth. Unlike many clubs where the DJ booth is front and center, Rain’s DJs spin off to the side of the dance floor near one of the VIP areas. With so much room to spread out and no one section of the club showcased for exclusive viewing, Rain really makes everyone feel both special and a part of the crowd that gathers here every Friday and Saturday night.

One of Rain’s most prominent features is its ability to provide a multi-sensory experience. In addition to a top-of-the-line sound and lighting system, the club is rigged with equipment that spews 14-foot fireballs and drops bubbles on the crowd below.

Even if the music isn’t quite your style, the venue itself is definitely noteworthy. Designed in a stadium seating-type of layout, Rain has an elevated dance floor surrounded by tiered levels of bars, tables and booths. Sky boxes, cabanas and water booths, located on the upper levels of the club, can be reserved for 8-15 people for more intimate gatherings. Several bars are scattered throughout the club, but guests are welcome to splurge for bottle service as well.

Rain can pack up to 1,800 people into the club (1,500 for private events), and it feels full almost every night. Though the club has been open for an exponentially long time in Vegas club years, Rain continues to be a hip, happening and hot destination that attracts people looking for the place to party in Sin City.

Open Friday and Saturday night 10:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.
