Brooks & Dunn To Become New Headliners At Las Vegas Hilton

In a press conference held at the Las Vegas Hilton yesterday, it was revealed that award-winning and multi-platinum country superstars Brooks & Dunn have signed on as headliners for the hotel. The duo will headline in the Barry Manilow Theater, when Manilow is on break, rotating out scheduled openings with their good friend Reba McEntire.

McEntire, who began her headlining contract with dates this month, has collaborated musically with Brooks & Dunn in the past and has also gone on tour with them, so the synergy is perfect for the country duo to take up part-time residence at the Las Vegas Hilton. The first dates for Brooks & Dunn are said to be in December, during the National Rodeo Finals. They are currently signed to a one-year contract with options for extensions. 

The timing of the announcement coincides with the duo’s appearance at the Academy of Country Music Awards, which are scheduled to be held tomorrow night at the MGM Grand. They are nominated for two awards this year: Entertainer of the year and Best Vocal Duo.
