Cher Announces First 2009 Show Dates

Cher Returns to Caesars Palace Las Vegas in 2009 Hot on the heel of canceling her remaining shows for 2008, Cher has announced she will indeed return to Caesars Palace in 2009.

She has scheduled 35 performances from February 21st to March 21st and from April 25th through May 24th. The exact dates are as follows:

February 21, 22, 24, 25, 28
March 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21
April 25, 26, 28, 29
May 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24

Her 90-minute show begins at 7:30pm nightly on these dates.

Ticket prices are $95, $140, $175 and $250 (plus taxes and fees), and may be purchased at the Caesars Palace box office, via Ticketmaster or by calling 866.510.CHER (2437).

These first 35 shows of 2009 will go on sale Monday, November 3rd, the same day Cher appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Topics are sure to include the recent cancellation of shows, which despite various rumors, the pop icon says was a result of “Vegas Throat,” a malady that is brought on by the combination of dry desert air and indoor air conditioning.
