Hasselhoff To Leave The Producers
It has been rumored from the moment that David Hasselhoff signed on to appear in the Vegas production of “The Producers” he would only be with the show for a limited time. This week his publicist confirmed that the actor would indeed be leaving the show.
Due to commitments with filming NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” on which he is a judge, Hasselhoff’s last appearance in the role of the cross-dressing Roger DeBris will be May 6.
Replacing him will be Lee Roy Reams, who is currently playing the role of DeBris in the Broadway production of “The Producers.” Though it has won several Tony awards, the Broadway show will close on April 22. This will give Reams a two-week break before he joins the Vegas cast on May 7th.
If you want to see Hasselhoff before he leaves, tickets are now on sale for his remaining shows at the Paris Las Vegas box office.
