Jerry Lewis and the Telethon Return to Vegas
The Las Vegas Sun reported last week that The Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon will return to Las Vegas in 2006 after more than a decade of performances in Los Angeles. Officials from the Muscular Dystrophy Association were expected to meet with South Coast Casino reps last week to sign the final contracts that would bring the show to the grand ballroom of the new hotel. As part of the deal the 79-year-old Lewis has agreed to perform four nights at the Orleans this coming July. Lewis will appear from July 13 to July 16, 2006 and tickets for the performances will go on sale in April.
