Miss Rodeo America Celebrates 50 Years

Grab your boots and head to the 50th annual Miss Rodeo America pageant to see some serious cowgirl competition. Twenty-five state rodeo queens will vie for the coveted 2006 crown by competing in appearance, horsemanship, and personality contests. Events are held throughout the week, including a fashion show on Nov. 30 and the Miss Rodeo coronation ceremony on Dec. 3. The pageant is held as a prelude to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
