Producers Comes to Paris Las Vegas

The most honored show in Broadway history is now headed for Las Vegas. Mel Brooks’ hit musical, “The Producers,” will be setting up home at the Le Théâtre des Arts in Paris Las Vegas beginning later this summer.

During its six-year run on Broadway, the show has won 12 Tony Awards (an industry record), and it has also sold out shows on an international tour. But the Vegas version of the show will be slightly different than the original and touring versions. The script is currently being reworked so the musical will run 90-minutes with no intermission.

Ticket and casting details for “The Producers” are being kept under wraps for now. The only specifics Paris Las Vegas will give is that they are aiming for a “late summer 2006” debut.
