Rita Rudner Extends Contract With Harrah’s
In October 2006, comedian Rita Rudner moved into her new home at Harrah’s. Her shows have proved so popular that last week, the resort announced Rudner’s contract has been extended until 2010.
Rudner first opened in Vegas with what was supposed to be a one-month stint at New York, New York in 2000. That led to a five-year engagement and over 600,000 ticket sales. Among her many accolades during her six years on the Strip are “Best Comedian in Las Vegas” for the last five years and the 2005 and 2006 “Favorite Female in Las Vegas” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Rudner performs nightly at 8pm in the Harrah’s Theater, with the exception of Sunday, when the show is dark. General seating tickets are $54 (plus tax and fees) and VIP tickets are $90 (plus tax and fees). VIP tickets include prime seating, a Rita Rudner DVD and note pad, and a pre-show meet and greet.
