Vegas Show News: LOVE DVD; Save $20 on Spamalot
LOVE Creation DVD Hits Stores in June 2008
One of the most popular show to ever hit the Strip has been LOVE, a Cirque du Soleil show set to the much-loved music of The Beatles. This summer, fans of the show can witness all that went into the creation of it when EMI Music releases the feature-length documentary “All Together Now” on DVD.
The DVD faithfully recounts how LOVE was born from the personal friendship between Beatle’s member George Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte, and follows the unique partnership formed between The Beatles and Cirque du Soleil to bring this vision to life. Everything from how the music was chosen to the first rehearsals at the Mirage is included in the DVD, along with commentary from Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison.
“All Together Now” will be in stores on June 24, 2008, with a total running time of 122 minutes, including the 84-minute documentary film and bonus features. The film and extras are presented in DTS & Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and Dolby Digital Stereo.
