Disability-Friendly Vegas: Getting Around Vegas

There are numerous transportation options once you land in Las Vegas, whether it be transportation to your hotel or shuttling between casinos, restaurants, shopping or even the suburbs.

Airport Transportation
Shuttles: There are several companies running airport shuttles equipped with wheelchair lifts. You can either reserve in advance or make arrangements upon arrival.

Around Town
Taxi: Taxis are everywhere. At your hotel, the doorman can procure the required type of vehicle to suit your needs. If no doorman is available, any taxi cab driver can radio dispatch for you.

CAT (Citizen Area Transit) / The Deuce: Las Vegas runs 24-hour-a-day buses up and down the Strip, as well as daily buses around town. Buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and offer discounts to disabled travelers.

Monorail: There are four monorail services in town, all handicapped accessible. A short monorail at the south end of the Strip which runs between Mandalay Bay, the Luxor, and the Excalibur at no cost to travelers. Another short monorail runs between the Mirage and TI, also at no cost. A third free monorail shuttles passengers between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo with a stop at CityCenter. The Las Vegas Monorail runs from Sahara to MGM Grand. Tickets need to be purchased to ride this monorail.
