What and Where is Summerlin?

Summerlin is the “master” planned community 12 miles West of the Strip. It is the high-rent burbs. It is the Foundation Room of local housing. The gates are grander, the pop-up malls nicer, and the golf is top notch. As of Summer 2005, there were nearly 100,000 people living in Summerlin. They are growing the area by building “villages” around parks and golf courses. When finished, there will be 30 villages in total. To get there, take 215 West past Flamingo. Keep going, you’ll see the signage surrounded by palm trees.
