The Las Vegas Monorail is a sore spot for locals and travelers alike. Many people think it's too expensive and the route is too inconvenient. It looks like this has affected ridership, and now it's floating in bankruptcy.

Ouch! Las Vegas is the nation's most stressful city due to the following stressors: high unemployment, long work hours, limited access to health care, poor physical health, lack of exercise and long commutes.

I admit that this news story is not necessarily of interest to the general public, but I find stories like this to be uplifting. A lot of people can't imagine Las Vegas as a residential community, but plenty of people enjoy the amenities offered by the city. This particular park is going to be built in a part of town that is relatively new and growing.
