How to Make a Sports Bet: The Teaser and Super Teasers
The teaser differs from the parlay in that the point spread, or line, is “teased” in the direction you want. For example, if you could take Dallas minus 7 on the parlay card, you could take them minus 3 on a “four-point teaser.” Most sports books have pre-printed cards for teasers, and the pay outs are static on the back. They don’t change based on the point spread. Teaser bets can be fun because they give you a lot of action for not a lot of money, and if you actually hit one, the pay off can be really big.
