Flamingo Las Vegas is a hotel casino located on the Strip and owned by Harrah’s Entertainment. It was the third resort to open on the Strip. Also, it is the oldest resort still in operation. The architectural theme is Miami/Art Deco. The central outdoor area is housing an exhibit of flamingos.

Flamingo Las Vegas is located right opposite Caesar’s Palace, tucked between the Imperial Palace and Barbary Coast. It has a Las Vegas Monorail station at the rear of the property.

The casino
Flamingo Las Vegas offers a total of 77,000 sq ft gambling space. The casino’s style is Caribbean and offers slots, table games as well as race and sports book. There are over 1,600 slot machines, and the games include Blazing 7s, Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks, Sizzling 7s, 5 and 10 Times Pay, as well as video slots. The Table Craps include craps, blackjack, mini-baccarat, poker and roulette.
General prices
The hotel is definitely not a luxury hotel, although the prices might seem high for certain suites. However, there are special offers available which makes a stay here worth while. The 3rd night here could cost as low as $40 (for a deluxe room) although you’d be paying over $110 for the first two nights. And when you book in advance the prices are really affordable. During the high season (i.e. Christmas, New Year’s) expect to find good deals if you book in advance ($85 for the deluxe room and $160 for the Neapolitan Suite).

Flamingo Las Vegas offers both high-end exotic restaurants and casual-style dining. You can choose the American cuisine and Asian cuisine. There are restaurants, cafes, and food courts to satisfy your hunger.

Nightclubs
There are two bars within the property, each offering the perfect occasion to relax and enjoy some cocktails.
Bugsy’s Bar, located in the center of the casino, is open 24 hours and is an excellent choice for refreshments no matter when the thirst strikes.
During afternoon and evening, The Garden Bar is the best place to enjoy some cocktails with excellent views of the Flamingo lagoon.
