Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours
Colorado River Tours is giving tours of the Eldorado Canyon Mine. The canyon is rich with history and is known as Nevada’s oldest and most famous gold mine. The tour lasts an hour and takes you above and 500 feet into the Historical Techatticup Mine.
The mine is riddled with a turbulent past including several murders, as well as being the location for movies such as Breakdown (1997) and 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001). Find out about the Visit the museum in the historic 1861 building.
Hours: 9:15 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Cost: $12.50 for adults, $7.50 kids, discounts available for groups of more than ten persons.

Directions: Follow I-95 south of Boulder City for 13 miles to SR 165. Turn left on SR 165 (Nelson Road) for about 11 miles to Nelson. Continuing from Nelson, the Techatticup Mine is just a few more miles down the winding road. If you get to Lake Mohave, you’ve gone too far.
