Blues Traveler Visits Mandalay Beach

The harmonica-flavored blues rock of the jam band Blues Traveler set them apart from other bands in the mid-90s. They had their biggest success with the 1994 cd Four, and its breakout hit single, “Run-Around.” Subsequent releases haven’t fared as well, but the band has maintained their fan base by constant touring and appearing at festivals like Bonnaroo.

Blues Traveler is touring on the strength of last year’s release Bastardos! and will be jamming onstage at Mandalay Beach July 8. The show is sure to be made available by fans afterwards online — and yes, the band condones this recording and trading of shows.
