Brian Wilson Solo Show at the Cannery Casino

A legendary writer, producer, arranger and performer, Brian Wilson is best known as one of the co-founders and members of the Beach Boys. After he left the band, Wilson also has had a semi-successful solo career on his own. In 1988, he released an autobiography, Wouldn’t It Be Nice – My Own Story, in which he spoke for the first time about his troubled relationship with his abusive father and his “lost years” of mental illness.

Over the years since, Wilson has dealt with a lot of his personal demons and healed a lot of broken relationships, including with his daughter, Carnie. He also did his part for recent Katrina relief efforts, personally calling fans who donated at least $100 to the efforts.

The newly invigorated Wilson will be performing his many hits, both Beach Boys and solo, when he appears at the Cannery Casino on July 1.
