Miranda Lambert To Turn Mandalay Beach Country

It was only ten years ago that a teenage Miranda Lambert received her first guitar from her father. But growing up in a house full of country music fans, she quickly made a name for herself in the Texas music scene. Barely into her twenties, she took a chance and entered the first edition of the hit reality talent series, “Nashville Star.” She ended up finishing third, but the national exposure on the television show was enough to land her a record contract with Sony. Her first single, “Kerosene,” was a huge hit, and she continues to burn the charts with songs like “New Strings.”

Lambert was in Vegas last month, performing on the Academy of Country Music Awards, aired live from the MGM Grand, but she’s returning to town for her own headlining show. You can catch Lambert lighting up the night at the Mandalay Beach stage on July 7.
