Keno Lingo: The People that Run the Game
“Caller” – The caller is the casino employee who lets you know your fate in the Keno game. As the numbers are pulled out of the tube, the caller calls them out to everyone (or no one) in the Keno lounge.
“Keno Writer” – The casino staffer who writes up your Keno ticket and hands you the electronic ticket with your picks on it. Often times, they hand your slip to the Keno Runner, who then brings it to you.
“Keno Runner” – The casino employee who makes sure you can still gamble while enjoying your buffet by “running” your picks to the Keno staff, and then “running” the sheet back to you. In reality, don’t expect a lot of running.
